Our Story
"My journey to b’swurl’d began out of my desire to reconnect with my body - to listen, be kind & have a harmonious relationship with her. A few years ago, I struggled with some skin issues and suffered from a state of constant judgement towards my body. I turned to nature because that seemed to have always been the easiest answer for me. As a nature lover and a strong believer in nature’s potency & healing capacities, I started playing with the magical yummies - luscious butters from nuts and seeds, the rich oils and bountiful herbs. I dug a lot into the traditional wisdom that revolved around keeping the body healthy, asked a trillion questions, experimented, researched, studied for years and became a certified organic skincare formulator, in order to share this joy with the world.
b’swurl’d /bee-swurld/ comes from the word ‘swirl’- the mysterious shape that seems to shine through in everything and everywhere in nature -
from the unfurling of a leaf
to sea shells on the beach,
from dancing of the skies
to whirlpools in the seas,
from roses to marigolds,
the galaxies and way more.
Wide eyed & with a sense of wonder,
I notice the swirls around, more and more.

‘Swirls’ to me, represent connection, merging and coming together of forces. b’swurl’d is a dance of union between the body, soul, and mother earth that inspires a sense of communion & harmony, true to who we really are.
b’swurl’d is my way of sharing my joy through my formulations. I also hope for it to be a loving nudge to everyone on the journey to self care and self love. "
